Equipment
We use Sony AX series cameras which have a night vision mode which we enhance through the use of Infrared lights so we can see further in the dark through the camera. Infrared lights are naked to the human eye meaning we only see darkness but the camera see’s quite a lot more.​

Handheld Cameras
The Rempod is a small device that aids us in interacting with paranormal entities of all sorts. The way that this device works is that the antenna produces and electromagnet field, if this field is interrupted it creates capacitance which triggers the alarms and LED’s to sounds and light up. The more the field is interrupted the stronger the reaction from the rempod resulting in different tones and more LED’s lighting up. In addition to that function we have a temperature sensor and temperature display so we can identify if there are any changes in temperature. We built the rempod ourselves and have used it in multiple investigations.​ The rempod is known to be set off by walkie talkies if they are used in the vicinity so we need to take this into consideration is walkie talkies are used.

Rempod
We use these handheld devices that are able to detect changes in the electromagnetic field and light up the LED’s on the device itself. We use several of these devices we have ones that have temp sensors that alarm in there is a distinct change it temperature also, we also have some that are modified by us to have an audible alarm so we can hear them go off as well in case we are not looking at it directly.
K-ii EMF Sensor
We have built and tested our own motion sensors that use PIR (passive infrared) sensors that alarm and light up when the PIR sensor is triggered. When they are triggered there is an audible alarm and LED that lights up. The alarm goes off as long as it detects movement so it if notices movement for a couple of seconds it will go off for a couple of seconds but if there is prolonged movement then it will continue to alarm until the movement is no longer detected.
Motion Sensor
This is another device that we built ourselves based on the Octolively. This device has IR (infrared) sensors on it that can trigger if there is movement in front of it or across it. It has 8 standard LED’s that each have a sensor so if there is movement in front of it then it can trigger one or multiple dependant on the movement. This has 8 different light sequence settings that you can choose between and also has 4 different sensitivity settings but we keep it on the most sensitive setting.
Shadow Tracker
We built this device ourselves and it uses an Xbox 360 Kinect sensor with software that allows you to use the sensor cameras both normal sensors and IR (infrared) sensors, the sensors are able to “map” out the environment so you can see walls furniture and people amongst more. This device also allows you to see entities by being able to see “structured light” which then maps to a stick figure on screen. You can then try and communicate with the stick figure, for example you can ask it to wave a hand or raise a hand etc and then you can see if the figure reacts. This is how this device can be used. We also power this device off of a homemade power bank.
SLS Camera
Our static cameras consist of action cameras which have had their infrared filters removed to allow them to be used in the dark with an infrared light source. In our case we use IR floodlights mounted on top of the cameras. We power both the camera and IR light off of a power bank which could be one we bought or one that we made ourselves. Each camera records at 1080p however due to using different brands of camera the quality seems to differ but we are looking at standardising them. Using the static cameras we can position them around the location so we can have angles all around and cover areas when we are not there.

We use the spirit box P-SB7 which is an analogue radio scanner that covers both AM and FM. It has different modes which change scan speed and direction (I believe). The theory is that spirits can user the radio frequencies to communicate so you can hear it through the speaker. In the spirit box that we use we have removed the antenna to limit the interference in the audio.

Alongside the spirit box we can use it as a single device or with the portal. The portal is a device that filters the white noise from the audio to make any responses more noticeable due to not having the white noise. What it can also do it add reverb to the audio to it repeats a bit so you can hear the audio more than once so you can hopefully understand what was said as a response. Lastly the audio comes through an amplifier so the audio volume in increased as the standard spirit box audio is not that loud.
Portal Box
We use a dictaphone to record audio during an investigation to see if we can pick up any EVP’s (electronic voice phenomena). EVP’s are believed to be entities that are communicating which cannot be heard in realtime by human hearing. EVP’s can also be picked up by our cameras.

We use wordbook apps on our phones as well (in airplane mode), the theory is that entities can manipulate the sensors in the phone (electromagnetic) which can cause words to be “spoken” from the apps. There are many apps available but the ones we use are:

This device is from ghoststop, it uses laser distance sensors on both sides which trigger when something passes the sensor on one side or the other. Each side has a different LED, Green for yes and Red for no. Also built into this device is a temp sensor that also alarms if a change in temperature is detected. Flux 2 Response Device
We have a number of “motion balls” that we use, they are cats balls which are triggered if tapped or shaken in some way. We use these as trigger objects which entities can interact with so we can try to get responses to questions or capture movement in doorways or walkways as an example.

Similar to ouija board’s in how they function but are more positive spirit. Using the board and a planchet you place your fingers on the planchet and the entities are able to use the users energy and spell out words on the board or use responses by using phrases on the board (Yes/No for example). When we use the spirit board we open and close the board correctly and cleanse after the session.

Angel Board
In the divining theory divining rods are used to communicate with entities by asking questions with easy to use responses like Yes/No for example. You can also ask entities to point towards a specific direction or object to get an answer.
