Ancient Ram Inn Investigation 21st May 2021

So on the 21st May 2021 we (the paranormal nerds) embarked upon our very first investigation as an established group (Only 6 members at this point). We decided to go to a pretty local location but it is a very renowned location, the very impressive Ancient Ram Inn.

We arrived at the location just before 10am excited and ready to see what evidence we could find. We setup our equipment and investigated for the day, at the end of the day (5pm) we were all very drained as if we had been grafting for a long time. We had some interesting experiences during the day but we hadn't experienced anything that was mind blowing, or so we thought.

We finished up the day happy and excited for the next investigation as we had a great time as a group and found that we worked well together. On the drive back home we discussed what had happened and told each other our thoughts and theories of the day.

After we arrived home and we were all rested back up we decided it was time to go through the camera footage we had captured. On the day we had 3 static cameras set up on the day and they were located in the following places:

• Witches Room

• Bishops Room

• Attic

The first camera we went through was the Bishops room and as we went through the footage we didn't really notice anything so unfortunately that room seemed like a bit of a bust. Unfazed by this we continued on with the footage from the attic, this was the time when we realised we had captured something just incredible. As we went through the footage on a bigger screen with headphones on and the volume turned all the way up we came across something that sent shivers coursing through. What we believe we captured was the sounds of a woman walking on the wooden floor and then a very creepy giggle. We all discussed this and we all agreed that this looks like it was paranormal.

Continuing on from this we started to go through the footage from the Witches room, soon after starting we captured 3 separate events within minutes of each other which look and sound like the camera is being flicked or tapped. In the footage you hear a distinct tap/flick and then you see the camera frame move/vibrate. This was pretty mind blowing alongside what we captured in the attic, we marked this down and then continued with the footage. As we carried on going through the footage we spotted something else that seemed very strange, we were in the Witches room and we were asking questions and trying to get responses, when we had finished this session we all decided to head outside for a break before coming back in. Now as one of our investigators was leaving (Kris) he started to feel really light headed and his knee's began to buckle, he steadied himself on the door and then after a couple of seconds he was fine. Thinking nothing of this we all carried on with the day, however when we went through the footage for this point in time we noticed that when Kris got light headed there was a strange light anomaly that seemed to leave his back. We watched this several times over and discussed it and we came to the opinion that this could be paranormal.

After going through all of the footage and all the audio recordings we believe we captured some very interesting things, we believe we may have captured proof of a possible mimic in the building alongside some unknown entities.

This is a location that we are going to revisit as we feel that there is a lot of potential, the history is interesting and we have had some very interesting responses, next time we are going to go armed with more equipment to maximise the possibility of capturing some more evidence.
